"Broken Horses" Movie Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s
Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Broken Horses to be screened specially for highly famed Indian filmmakers
Vidhu Vinod Chopra is hosting a special screening of his maiden Hollywood venture – Broken Horses for the eminent directors of Bollywood. The movie which has the rare feat to be the first Hollywood film written, directed and produced by an Indian. That fact is creating buzz globally since the time of its trailer launch which had legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan sharing the stage.
The film has been hailed by the legends James Cameron and Alfonso Cuaron. The highly anticipated special screening will be attended by the likes of Ramesh Sippy, Pradeep Sarkar, Sudhir Mishra, Shriram Raghavan Abhishek Kapoor, Vikram Motwane, Vikas Bahl, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Subhash Kapoor, Bejoy Nambiar, Nikhil Advani to name a few. The event is slated to happen this Monday evening in Mumbai.
Set in the shadows of US-Mexico border gang wars, Broken Horses is an epic thriller about bonds of brotherhood, laws of loyalty and futility of violence. The film has been written by VVC and Abhijat Joshi and is based on an original story by Chopra.
Broken Horses’ principal cast features Vincent D’Onofrio, Anton Yelchin, Chris Marquette and Maria Valverde. Distributed and marketed by Fox Star Studios in India, Broken Horses will hit the theaters on April 10, 2015.
